Part A: Plan of Investigation To what extent did the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan justified? The Manhattan project was the reason the bomb, ‘Little Boy’ and ‘Fat Man’ were dropped in Japan. The Manhattan project was created because America was frightened, that Germany was already creating nuclear bombs. The reason Japan became the target was because, Japan had a powerful and strong military troops and Japan was supporting Germany (http://www.hiroshima-spirit.jp/en/museum/morgue_e12.html).
